The new release of the UVOS server and UVOS CLC is available. It brings several bugfixes and a new feature allowing to remotely check server version.
The new release of the UVOS server is available. It adds support for MySQL database backend and introduces possibility to configure filtering of attributes being released by the SAML endpoint.
The first release under EMI project of the UVOS server (1.4.1), its extensions (1.5.0-p3) and CLC client (1.4.1) is available. There are no many functional changes since the last release but two highlights are present: availability as RPMs for RedHat-compatible distributions (CENTOS, SL5, Fedora, ...) and a revised documentation which is also available in HTML format on-line.
In preparation for the first release of UVOS in EMI documentation was reviewed and extended. The Documentation page of this site was refactored and contains now a complete set of links to manuals of all components.
Release 1.4.0 of the UVOS server, Command line client and VOManager and matching release 1.5 of UVOS server web modules are available.
This release fixes many bugs (including quite nasty memory leak in the UVOS server) and provides many small features like support for CRLs and more flexible registration forms.
Release 1.3.4 of the UVOS VOManager is available. This release fixes the two bugs found in 1.3.3: lack of initial loading of the group's and scoped attributes, random errors occurring when there is no connection to the server. Additionally more operations are invoked in asynchronous mode. Finally there is a small change in a UI behavior: when Entity's Details view is selected then Entities Browser is shown. Similarly when Group's Details or Member's Details view is selected then Groups Browser is activated.
Release 1.3.3 of the UVOS VOManager is available. This release fixes number of synchronization bugs, and provides several new features. The most important are asynchronous, nonblocking network operations and flexible search facility for the identities browser.
Release 1.3.3 of the UVOS server and command line client is available. Changes are minor with one exception: UVOS server 1.3.2 failed to provide a valid environment for web modules. This issue is fixed and web modules for UVOS server 1.3.3 are available now. Note that web modules for UVOS server 1.3.3 are labeled 1.4.
We are happy to announce the availability of the release 1.3.2 of the UVOS server and command line client. Both releases contain many improvements. For example authentication mechanism of the server was simplified and is much easier to configure. Command line client allows for using commands history, offers auto-completion of commands and much more. See Changes.txt files (included in distribution packages) for details.
SF download page of UVOS project was changed. Currently each module possesses its own folder. The reason for this change is that the project has grown over the time and now releases of components are not done simultaneously. E.g. version 1.3.2 of the VO Manager was released long ago and version 1.3.2 of the UVOS server will be independently released soon.
